It’s called Giving Tuesday (often stylized as #GivingTuesday in the social media context). Celebrated the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday is touted as a “global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.”
At Goodwill Central Coast, we stand behind Giving Tuesday (observed this year on Nov. 28), as a reminder that everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts.
